As a continuation of two previous discussions in this series (#13 and  #19 ) about knowing one’s enemies,  I am adding the fourteen-minute interview, below. 

The information presented therein is particularly helpful just now when it seems as if “all of a sudden” chaos and crime are flooding the streets of inner cities and rage and rhetoric are stifling free speech and action–all of which leave many feeling hopeless. 

In this unprecedented era of unrest it helps the know that this frightening, arguably long march through the institutions  has been going on for many years, and it helps to know what that process is because knowledge is power.

The interview offers what many believe to be the underlying cause, particularly historians and certainly the interviewee, former Soviet KGB informant Yuri Bezmenov, who defected to the West in 1970 and until his death warned Americans of the inside takeover by Marxist/Leninist ideologues. The video features salient excerpts of the original interview in 1985.

The interview was conducted by G. Edward Griffin who also provides an introduction in the recent update that has been re-mastered with current technology. Griffin is controversial in far-left corners, but allow yourself to be the judge of the veracity of the information presented–and it’s much easier, given unfolding events, to understand his explanation here in 2020 than it was in the 1980s.

In short, Bezmenov details the evolution of the “four stages of (the) conquest” of America as someone who was involved in what he termed psychological warfare for many years in Soviet Russia.  

If we understand what the true nature of the enemy of a free nation is, we at least understand the cause of the “illness,” as it were, which is the beginning of developing and/or boosting an immunity to it because there is nothing more debilitating–and “demoralizing” (stage one of the conquest)–than the unknown.
