Prayers, please, for this friend of a friend. Not everyone is able to leave FL in advance of the storm, and there are likely thousands like her in their own predicaments.
She emailed this, this morning:
I’ve got my closet set up with blankets, food and water. Expecting a Category 4 or 5 Hurricane to hit Florida later tonight, or early Sunday morning. Am very frightened. Hotels in surrounding states are basically full, and I have an unreliable car, & a dog, & little money – which makes it so much harder to leave…
It’s gonna hit my little house. With me in it.
Am hoping for the best, while expecting the worst…it’s all so unpredictable.
Especially with Hurricane Jose coming up right after it.
ugh
Expecting to lose power and internet later this evening.
Shutting my computer down now, & putting it in a hopefully safe place from damage.
Going offline now, am hoping to be back soon!
