On Singularity Intelligence (SI) versus Holy Spirit Intelligence (HSI)

Phyllis Beveridge Nissila

Singularity Intelligence: “The singularity ties in with the field of artificial intelligence (AI), which involves developing a piece of technology that can perform tasks typically associated with humans alone. While most artificial intelligence is non-human-like, such as that used in the manufacturing industry or cybersecurity field, today’s state-of-the-art creations are somewhat mind-blowing…” continue reading source article here… SPOILER ALERT: BUT SI IS NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE, YET.

Holy Spirit Intelligence: The Holy Spirit (of God) “is a divine person because He possesses a mind, emotions, and a will. The Holy Spirit thinks and knows (1 Corinthians 2:10). The Holy Spirit can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). The Spirit intercedes for us (Romans 8:26-27). He makes decisions according to His will (1 Corinthians 12:7-11). The Holy Spirit is God, the third Person of the Trinity. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the Comforter and Counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:162615:26). On the Much-Touted Brilliance of the Hoped-For SI and  When a Person Transitions to HSI

RE, the much-touted brilliance of the coming “singularity”: consider that when a person transitions from non-believer to believer in Jesus Christ, he or she receives the Holy Spirit which is a completely different, far more highly complex and insightful source of knowledge and wisdom for those who choose eyes to see and ears to hear*.

You might say that he or she becomes “quantumly entangled” with God, the designer and creator of all, at that time.

Artificial intelligence doesn’t have access to that kind of intelligence, nor is it able to observe where and when the Holy Spirit “shows up” to teach, lead, inform–and deliver from evil–those who seek, find, and yield to its Source.

As put in John 3:8, “The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Satan, via whomever or whatever he operates in and/or through, has no power over this “transmission,” so to speak, nor can he match its speed, as in it operates in a dimension outside of time constraints. And in warfare, the first one to comprehend and conquer the trenches wins.

The best Satan, et al, can do is try to destroy God’s Spirit in believers by destroying the people, themselves, both those who have already chosen Christ as their Savior and Lord and those who still might as long as they have the breath and the will to do so.

We haven’t seen anything yet in terms of persecution of both Christians and Jews in today’s world where global hatred of our God is raising its most potent, destructive head yet.

In addition to continuing to steward our responsibilities in the world, believers need to keep our spiritual bags packed–and continue with our commission: to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth–and stay reading and meditating on God’s Word, aka the Bible, for He has already given us the “end of the book” to comfort, encourage, embolden, and strengthen us.

And all of the other good news.

We are each here for such a time as this.
