On Overcoming The “Little Foxes” and the Big Guns, Part 2: On Vigilance and Diligence

Concerning the present multiple-front crises tearing up the world physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually, unprecedented as they are–and with prophetic import–Jesus’ analogy to childbirth is very apt and serves as the best warning of what may well be just ahead: the “pains” occur in increasing frequency and intensity for a specific outcome.

In other words, if this is the end of one age of spiritual history as many prophecy experts believe, the “pains” aren’t false labor, so to speak, nor are they going to stop until all that God has laid out ahead of time is accomplished.

In still other words: the time for prepping is nearly over for what portion of the “end of the age” is soon to commence.

Although in a sense prepping is never finished because of the nature of evil.

Have you ever noticed how when one “attack,” be it physical, mental, emotional, verbal, or spiritual doesn’t work, the perpetrator(s) seem to back up, analyze, and “re-imagine” a different approach in order to be able to try again?

Thus the need for continuous vigilance and diligence.

And the need to always keep in mind: the Father of Evil, aka Father of Lies (the real shadow government), is, after all, as one preacher put it, “God’s Devil”.

And the Devil has a leash.

Part 2 is a brief review of the initial stages of what “battle,” generally multi-faceted, commences citing various plans.

Here are two encouraging perspectives going in:

12The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; 13but the LORD laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming. 14The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright. 15But their swords will pierce their own hearts, and their bows will be broken. (Psalm 37:12-15)

The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
“Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”

The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them. (Psalm 2:2-4)

Carry on–and forward.

On “The 10/80/10 (Physical ) Survival Theory” and “The 66 (Spiritual) Survival Plan”

warning symbolsWisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,
who have left the straight paths
to walk in dark ways,
 who delight in doing wrong
and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,
 whose paths are crooked
and who are devious in their ways.
(Proverbs 2:12-15 NIV)

In a sense, there is nothing new under the sun (another Scripture reveals), yet to anybody paying attention just now, “dark paths” and “devious men” seem to be multiplying.

Exponentially.

One can hardly pick up a newspaper or turn on the television without noting more bad news about yet another terror.

Watchers on the temporal scene note the passing of some kind of tipping point as civilization (seemingly) breaks down.

Watchers on the spiritual scene note the up-tick of a number of so-called “end-times prophecies.”

The only ones left in the mocker’s chair are the frightful and the fearful as those who perpetrate perversion seem Hell bent…

What to do—“on the ground” and “in the spirit”?

THE WISDOM OF “THE 10/80/10”

Elsewhere in my survival posts I have referenced a physical survival concept titled the “10/80/10 Theory.” It comes to mind more and more, these days. It bears repeating, I think.

This concept, coined by survival teacher and researcher John Leach [1], refers to three groups of people and how they each react to catastrophes, whether “acts of God” or acts of man.

The first 10%  continue reading…
