Introduction to the entire series.

Introduction, Part 7, and last

So the reader might wonder, perhaps, after reading through one, two, or all 7 prophecy pattern tri-folds that my sister and researcher Claire Gumbs has been inspired to create over a period of nearly 7 years, now:

Why this format?

As noted in the introduction to the entire series, Claire says her “marching orders,” as it were, were Habukkuk 2:2: “Write the vision, and make it plain on tables, that he may run who reads it.” As a graphic designer, she took that literally and created the information in outline form on easy-to-read, well, tables (and charts) in tri-fold format–for today’s busy readers–with plenty of footnotes and references for those who have more time on their hands to pursue the topics further.

Why now?

Because it is Claire’s (and my, and many other believers’) distinct discernment that the time of Jesus’ return is nigh.

In short, time is short. Be ready. Keep those (Holy Spirit) “lamps filled”* (Matthew 25:1-13).

As Claire puts it, inside this very tri-fold, in her succinct style:

Signs and Signals of the season for the return of
Jesus the Messiah:
 Significant disturbances in all of Earth’s and other planetary eco systems. —Genesis 1:14, Luke 21:25—27
 Rising breakdown in relationships between ethnic groups and nations, famine, earth-quakes, pestilence, etc. —Matthew 24
 Yeshua (Jesus) Himself
—Isaiah 7:14 and Luke 11:29-31

BUT, far more importantly: Claire has created these prophecy pattern tri-folds to remind, encourage, inform, and exhort every reader (and here is the overarching theme):

(That) if thou mayest confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and mayest believe in thy heart that God did raise him out of the dead, thou shalt be saved, for with the heart doth [one] believe to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation…(Romans 10:9-10).

part 7

This Tri-fold Features:

  • The Good News of making the decision to follow Jesus Christ (love, joy, hope, truth, peace, salvation…) as contrasted with the bad news (page 1)…
  • A key translation of the Hebrew words for “Alpha” and “Omega” (words Jesus used to describe Himself to John in Revelation, chapter 1 verse 8) that renders that verse: “Him, even Me, the signal”.
  • When the greatest love story of all, began…(Isaiah 41:4).

Post Script

Claire and I encourage the reader to “do your own homework” like the Bereans who were praised for their close study of the Scriptures.

We also encourage you to resist the “normalcy bias” of believing things will always go on as they have always gone on.

If our God knows “the end from the beginning,” the thoughtful student of prophecy will consider that there are “ends” to epochs and eras in the spiritual realm even as such are evidenced in the natural realm.

May God bless and inspire you.

May we also impress upon you that the time may be very short until Jesus returns. If you have not yet received Him as your personal Lord and Savior, the time is right, now, for you. Ask Him into your life and your heart today.

*For a good and quite thorough perspective on what it means to keep one’s “lamp filled” (the short version: receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and follow Him), here is a good reference.
